The Right Direction, LLC is a mental health agency based in Lancaster, SC since 2012.  We provide trauma informed care that helps heal trauma versus stabilizing symptoms using CBT. We use a holistic approach to healing by treating the person as a whole. We treat the mind, body, and spirit because we understand how trauma can make it feel as if you're stuck in the past; especially when triggered. We understand when we hear, "Therapy doesn't work" after someone has had CBT/Talk Therapy for trauma. This is why we have answered the call to provide trauma informed treatment that does. EMDR and Brainspotting were the two therapeutic modalities to treat and heal the survivors, families, friends, and the communities affected by the Sandy Hook shooting. These are the primary modalities known to help the brain begin it's own restorative healing process. These modalities help others to heal inner child and wounded parts by helping them to become unstruck from their past. Becoming unstuck will allow emotions connected to past traumatic experiences to stay in the past while allowing you to move forward with new insight, hope, and into a healthier future.
